Mr. Whitehead is the author of Artisans of the Michoacan: By Their Hands. The meeting will be held September 16\, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m\,.at the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce\, 311 E. Tyler. The Center for Creative Retirement is sponsored by the Harlingen Chamber to develop stimulating programs which offer lifelong learning for persons 55 and over. The organization meets the third Tuesday during the months of September through May. Annual membership is only $35 per person. Checks should be made payable to the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce and mailed to 311 E. Tyler\, Harlingen\, TX 78550.
