DESCRIPTION:The Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Candidates Forum on Monday\, October 22\, 2012 in the boardroom of the HCISD Administration building\, 407 North Sunshine Strip for all candidates vying for a position on the Harlingen City Commission. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. \n \nThe purpose of the forum is to give candidates an opportunity to present their views on business-related issues affecting our community. All seven commission candidates have been invited to participate. The ground rules and questions will be developed by a committee of the Chamber. \n \nThe Chamber believes in a well-informed and politically engaged community.
