DESCRIPTION:Dr. David M. Oshinsky\, 2006 Pulitzer Prize Award Winner in History for his groundbreaking book Polio: An American Story will speak at the 2011 Distinguished Lecture Series.  A reception in the SETB courtyard will follow.  Dr. Oshinsky's lecture is entitled- Polio: An American Story.  \n\nAdvance ticket purchases are recommended for the evening lecture\, since there is limited seating. General admission tickets are $100 per person and include admission to the post-lecture reception. Individual sponsor tickets are $250 and include admission to the pre- and post-lecture receptions and preferred seating.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the Distinguished Lecture Series go to the Annual Fund to provide support for student and faculty travel\, research and projects for which state funding is not available.
