DESCRIPTION:The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District invites Harlingen residents to attend Bond Election 2010 campus community meetings scheduled between March 9th and April 29th.  The Harlingen CISD Board of Trustees voted to call for a May 8\, 2010 bond election.  The bond package includes a total of $98.6 million.  The campus meetings will provide information about the bond election and allow citizens to ask questions.   Meetings will be held at all campuses.  If a community member is unable to attend a meeting at a nearby campus\, then they are invited to attend other meetings scheduled throughout Harlingen.  Additional presentations will be conducted at civic and other group meetings during the same time period.  Information and meeting schedules can be found at the district Web site at www.harlingen.isd.tenet.edu.
