DESCRIPTION:The South Padre Island Seafood and Music Festival is a two day\, music\, food\, and arts event located on beautiful South Padre Island\, Texas. Proceeds benefit Sea Turtle Inc. whose work helps protect\, rehabilitate and conserve endangered sea turtles.  The festival will be held at the South Padre Island Convention Center Outdoor Stages. Over 20 bands for your entertainment.  The 2009 festival is scheduled for Friday\, September 18th from 6:00pm to 2:00am and Saturday\, September 19th from 11:00am to 2:00am.  Ticket prices $20 a day in advance\, $40 weekend pass and $300 VIP Pass.  Tickets available through www.FrontGateTickets.com or call 512.389.0315.  Tickets also available at these additional locations: Island Native Surf Shop on South Padre Island\, South Padre Island Visitor's Center\, Isla Grand Resort on South Padre Island\, Harlingen Chamber of Commerce\, Brownsville Chamber of Commerce and McAllen Chamber of Commerce.
