DESCRIPTION:The University of Phoenix Supports Operation Interdependence McAllen.  To show support for the troops serving on the front lines\, military families\, veterans\, the University of Phoenix will host a military event as part of Operation Interdependence on July 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The ceremony\, which will be held at the University's campus at 4201 South Shary Road in Mission\, will also recognize local organizations and leaders who have led Operation Interdependence in McAllen.  Veterans\, active duty members and families will share their stories of receiving care packages and support while they or loved ones served overseas.\n\nThe University of Phoenix McAllen Campus staff and faculty members will make a donation of $5\,000 to Operation Interdependence.
