DESCRIPTION:TOASTMASTERS TO SPONSOR 3-SESSION SPEECHCRAFT CLASS AT HARLINGEN AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.  Open to the public.  A 3-session Speechcraft public speaking class will be offered on three consecutive Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.\, beginning Thursday\, February 18\, 2010 at the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce at 311 East Tyler Avenue. \n\nIn these three one-hour sessions\, participants will learn and practice public speaking techniques\, including introducing a speaker\, presenting a prepared speech\, responding to an impromptu topic and receiving and giving feedback. Whether you have a fear of speaking or want to improve your skills\, this course will be beneficial to you. Participants have fun while they learn.  $20 fee covers materials for all 3 sessions and will be collected at the door at the first session. To register\, call the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce at 423-5440.  Lunch will not be provided.
