The South Texas Energy Partnership, Workforce Solutions Cameron, University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College, HUD''S San Antonio Office and the Texas Department of Agriculture are hosting the 4th Annual Energy Efficiency Green Conference and EXPO on January 21, 2010. The event will focus on energy conservation programs, emerging alternative energy industries and water conservation, the next crisis on the horizon. The Conference and Expo and will be held at UTB / TSC ITEC Center located at 301 Mexico Boulevard, Brownsville, Texas 78520. The conference focus will be to explore the economic benefits of alternative energy industries on local communities, existing energy conservation programs, and the need to develop local water conservation programs. Workshops and exhibits will illustrate the advantages of alternative energy for the conservation of resources, lowering energy consumer costs, water conservation and workforce development for new energy industries. The valuable information presented will benefit local governments, private industries, consumers and the local workforce. The conference will consist of general sessions, workshops on topics related to water conservation, alternative energies, existing energy conservation programs and a lunch keynote speaker. Come join us as we discuss ways in which we can conserve energy, explore alternative energy sources, new job creation and do our part to protect our planet and its resources
