Greetings Business Owners and Community Leaders:
Just wanted to let you know of the following events that we hope will increase commerce in Harlingen. We are expecting nearly every band, choir, and orchestra from Valley Schools to come to our new Performing Arts Center to compete in a series of 2014 UIL Concert and Sightreading Contests. We opened up our new Performing Arts Center in September, so this will be the first time in history that Harlingen C.I.S.D. will be hosting these events.
Consequently, many Valley Schools will be taking busloads of choir, band, and orchestra students to area businesses, restaurants, and fast food eateries.
Please make note of the following dates when we will be hosting these UIL contests:
