23rd Annual Celebrity Roast honoring Harlingen High Cardinals Coach Manny Gomez

The Literacy Center of Harlingen will host its 23 annual Celebrity Roast on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Valley Race Park. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar, dinner at 7:00 p.m., followed by the "Roast." This year we will be honoring (and "roasting") the head football coach of Harlingen High School, Manny Gomez. The line-up of roasters scheduled include players, friends and sports writers, who should provide an evening of fun and laughs. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Literacy Center of Harlingen. Please plan to join us. Ticket prices are $65 per person or a table of ten for $600.
