JOB FAIR SCHEDULED FOR UNIQUE OUTDOORS STORE Bass Pro Shops Harlingen Set to Open November 9th at 6 pm Harlingen, Texas - A job fair will be held Monday through Wednesday, August 15th through August 17th, for the new Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World opening in Harlingen. Those interested in employment with the outdoors store need to apply in person at The Harlingen Community Center, 201 E. Madison, Harlingen, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day. Applications will be accepted for full-time and part-time positions in the following departments: fishing, hunting, camping, footwear, apparel/gifts, marine accessories, boat sales, inventory control, customer service, parts sales and the cash office. In addition, the company will be employing cashiers, greeters, stockers, marine technicians, boat riggers, boat detailers and boat sales consultants. You must be 18 years old to apply. Also, a Bowling Operations Technician will be hired as the Harlingen Bass Pro Shops store is the third in the company's history to feature the Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill. This 15,000 square-foot nautical-themed entity, located within the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World store, features a truly unique atmosphere and design. Geared for plenty of family fun, the Fishbowl offers a twelve-lane bowling alley, casual dining and a private room perfect for birthday parties or small family gatherings. Restaurant applications will also be taken August 15th-17th for servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers, bartenders, dishwashers, line cooks and prep.
