Meizie Lofton will discuss Black history in Harlingen and the Valley from the days when the Buffalo Soldiers were based at Fort Brown and black workers helped erect the Brownsville-Eagle Pass telegraph lines up to the present. 9:30 to 11:30 at the African American Community Center 925 West Pierce. $5 fee for non-members.
