TOASTMASTERS SPEECHCRAFT CLASS

TOASTMASTERS TO SPONSOR 3-SESSION SPEECHCRAFT CLASS AT HARLINGEN AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. Open to the public. A 3-session Speechcraft public speaking class will be offered on three consecutive Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce at 311 East Tyler Avenue. In these three one-hour sessions, participants will learn and practice public speaking techniques, including introducing a speaker, presenting a prepared speech, responding to an impromptu topic and receiving and giving feedback. Whether you have a fear of speaking or want to improve your skills, this course will be beneficial to you. Participants have fun while they learn. $20 fee covers materials for all 3 sessions and will be collected at the door at the first session.
