Texas State Technical College Harlingen and Green Mountain Energy Company (Green Mountain) will officially ''flip the ceremonial switch'' to activate the new solar photovoltaic (PV) system for the college — the school's first solar array. Green Mountain donated the solar panel system to Texas State Technical College Harlingen. Green Mountain's Super Earth mascot will be in attendance, as well as Green Mountain's Vanessa Montelongo; Harlingen Mayor Chris Boswell; Senator Eddie Lucio Jr.; State Rep. Eddie Lucio III; City Commissioners Larry Galbreath and Joey Trevino; Dr. Cesar Maldonado, TSTC Harlingen President; Nora Castaneda, TSTC Board of Regents; students and employees of TSTC.
