WhiteWings to Host Local Tryouts

The North American League's Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings announced Wednesday that they will host a tryout camp for baseball players on Saturday 14, 2011 at 10:00 am at Harlingen Field. Prospective players planning on participating can register in advance by calling the WhiteWings at 956-423-9464. Anyone registering before May 1st will receive a special discounted price of $50.00, while anyone registering either after May 1st or on the day of the tryout will have to pay $75.00 to participate. Participants must bring their own equipment and are advised to arrive early. Seasons tickets to watch the WhiteWings this summer are on sale now. Season and Group tickets can be purchased by calling the WhiteWings or in person at Harlingen Field.
