Everyone is invited to participate in the City Flag Design Contest sponsored by the Harlingen Historical Preservation Society and the Harlingen Art Forum. The contest opens on Monday, Oct. 12. Deadline for all entries is Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. Entry forms and rules may be picked up at D'Arte Centre, 115 E. Jackson St., Harlingen, Tuesday - Saturdays, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
